I'm beginning to think wooden cribs are the dumbest idea ever for babies. DS is pretty good at sitting, but when he wakes up at night, he's still groggy and sometimes topples over and bashes his head against the wooden crib rails. :-( I have a breathable bumper in there, but it doesn't provide much padding, and he usually hits above the bumper anyway. I feel so bad.

Re: Does your LO bump their head on the crib rails?
I think it is just a part of growing up. We didn't even have ANY type of bumpers on our crib or anything else in the house growing up. But, the company that makes breathable crib shield that is much bigger and goes all the way around the crib and covers from the mattress to the top rail.
