I posted last night about the talk I had with DH regarding the fact that he needs to step up and NOTICE what needs to be done and do it.  Tonight for the first time, and without a word of prompting, he proudly announced that he cut Aiden's fingernails.  I about passed out :-p

Wow, that's fantastic!  I saw your post from last night - DH and I had a similar talk a few weeks back, and I have seen some improvement as well.  He's making DD's Halloween costume right now - and I'm pretty impressed with what I'm seeing.  Now if only he would get better at changing diapers...

I think its funny that when they accomplish something they require praise! lol mine does that annouces every time he does something and I'm like "go DH!" he enjoys it.

Honestly, some men are just so oblivious.  It took me pointing out that, while I'm home for sometimes 2 hours before he is, he always finds me still in my work clothes, bitching that I have to pee.  Why?  Because I run in the house (after our 45 minute commute), feed solids, start prepping dinner, play with LO, make a bottle (if I don't have to wash them first!), etc.  He comes in and immediately changes into lounge clothes and takes his "man time" in the bathroom :-p
