I went into my local Publix and there was a new sub lady. The regular sub guy I see asked me how my baby has been doing since I lost one twin and the new sub lady jumped up and shouted "OMG I have twins. B/G twins but I wanted two girls so sometimes I dress DS up in dresses and bows and he looks just too cute!"
My freaking jaw fell to the floor. Who the hell does this kind of crazy crap to their children!?
Just thought I would post this after that other womans "How do I make twins" post. Who doesn't need something to laugh at?

Re: I met the craziest twin momma today...
That poor boy is going to grow up feel like he disappointed his mom. I had a college professor who didn't believe in gender roles so she dressed her 5 year old son as a girl sometimes....and took him out in public. I don't understand people. At least, the college professor thought she was doing right by her child. This sub woman is being totally selfish!
I see you live in Roswell. We just moved to the Atlanta area in June and are renting for one year while we learn the area. We're considering moving to Roswell. How do you like it? How are the schools?
Welcome neighbor!! My DH and I relocated up here two years ago and we have really enjoyed the area thus far. We too are renting so I am not really aware of the school's around the area but I have heard excellent things about Roswell High School. I really love living in Roswell compared to the greater-Atlanta area because you are still close enough to commute reasonably to work inside the perimeter yet you are not in the 'country'. We really like it!
Let me know if you ever need anything! And if you haven't checked out the Georgia Aquarium you need to! The place is AMAZING and I can't wait to take my LO there one day!!

Oh gosh, um, yeah, I would never admit that I may have, just for funsies, dressed one of my boys in a dress, just for, you know, fun. Never, ever.
(Okay, I did. But I promise they were too young to know, and I didn't take them out in public. )

Poor boy...
I'm a little with Pea-kay on this.
My boys had to wear the family heirloom "gown" for their baptism a couple weeks ago. It's totally a dress, but it made my mom happy.
Anyway, this is my favorite picture because Sam looks a little girly, and it's kind of fun to pretend what a daughter of mine might look like.
In my defense, we didn't leave the house with the "gown", and they wore collared shirts for the service.
In his defenese, he hated every second of being in that dress.
awwww, that is the cutest picture! what a sweet...boy!
