for those of you who don't know about it, i found appellation mountain a few months ago and can't stop reading it. she puts a lot of research and thought into her posts so they're pretty informative and nice to read if you're on the fence about a certain name.

it's also good to read the comments to see how others perceive the name, sort of like posting on here, just with a different group of people. i have submitted two names [our boy and girl name choices since we were team green] that will be featured soon and i found her past posts about my other favorite names very useful in narrowing down my list.

anyway, i just thought some of you might find it helpful to have yet another baby name site to obsess over

I've seen the raves about on here before, but finally just checked it out now. I love that someone on there wrote in the comments to a post, "Amalia is pudding; rich, lush and simply beautiful." Just made my evening.
