I am having a few symptoms that when I google them it brings up endometriosis which of course has be very worried since Tim and I are TTC as of last month (my last cycle was unsuccessful).
What were your symptoms? What have you done as far as a treatment plan goes?
I am petrified that this could be my diagnoses. I can't handle anymore on my plate, so this is not what I need right now.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you.

I am undergoing steps to a diagnosis of endo. My understanding is that you need a laparoscopic surgery to determine if you have endo. If you do, then it can be cleaned up during the surgery. You also may have scar tissue damage/adhesions from your two c-sections. My OB is pretty sure I have adhesions and again is going to do the laparoscopy surgery to find out. I have the surgery a week from today. He said he won't be 100% sure if I have endo until after the surgery. It could all be due to scar tissue from my c-section. Don't wait to get answers. Call and schedule an appointment to talk to your OB and find out. I waited too long and got the run around from several OB's. Now my son is going to be 5 before I'm able to have another baby. Good luck!
ETA: I am fairly new to anything Endo related, so any experts, please correct me if I am wrong. I'll update you on the results of my surgery!
I found out I had endo when I had an ovarian cyst removed. I was 29 at the time. I suspected I had endo because my mother had it (until she went through menopause) and I had similar symptoms of extremely heavy periods and bad cramps. I was told after my surgery that I "might" have difficulty conceiving a child, but that there had never been a direct link established between infertility and endometriosis. I was told, and I read, that some women with endo have difficulty and some do not. I am lucky that one of my BFFs is an ob/gyn and she was quite frank with regards to the scientific reality of the situation. Oh, and I was told that my lady parts were basically a tore-up mess.
I figured that was it and I wouldn't have kids. I had many problems on any form of birth control and decided to stop BCP because I was having three week periods on hormones. It was awful. I stopped BCP and had regular, albeit horrible, periods. I just happen to have a high tolerance for pain.
Long story short and without TMI (I hope!), I conceived my DD after one night of "relations" without protection.
I wouldn't freak out after one cycle of trying. There are tons of drugs, including Lupron that can help with conceiving. Lupron sends your body into a psuedo menopause, but it helps many women with endo conceive.
I wish you the best of luck with this situation. I wouldn't wish what I have on anyone. It's a very painful and difficult condition to have. At the same time, there are many treatment options available. If you are having horrible periods with mind-numbing cramps and the most ridiculous amount of blood flow than you may want to jump the gun and have someone take a look.
