Hopefully walking is just around the corner!!

DS has been getting more and more confident standing on his own.  He pulls himself up and lets go for up to 15 seconds.  Hopefully this means that walking is next!  I'm so excited for him!  Here's a (crappy iphone) pic I took of him standing this morning!

He is so cute in those little jeans! I had to run out for more dvd's for the camera b/c he took one step by himself today. I knew he'd full out walk if I didn't have the camera ready.

Now that I have them though, he probably won't take another step!

Aw! He looks so happy.  I love that proud look they get when they do something big.

I have caught Samuel do this a few times. We always cheer him on but he doesn't do it very often yet.

I too think walking is around the corner.  Although people have warned me i will be chasing him....

It's possible walking will come soon, but I know Evelyn was standing on her own (and I mean getting into a standing position absolutely unassisted) for about 3 months before she started taking her first unassisted steps, and then it took her another 2 weeks to really get into the whole walking thing. In those 3 months, she would cruise, no problem, but as soon as you took support away, forget it, she would just stand there, or go down and crawl.
