The three things I don't like baby related are...
1 - Changing crib sheets. I change them once a week and drrreeaaadd it.
2 - Teething. It just makes everyone in the house cranky.
3 - FeeDing DS solids. I know this sounds kinda mean, but he is a pain to feed. Always has been. He HATES the spoon. We are working on BLW and it's going "okay", but every meal is a fight.
With my 3 dislikes, I'd like to add my 3 favorite things.
1 - Cael falling asleep on my chest while lying on the couch. We both at such wonderful peace and I just can't take my eyes off him
2 - Taking a bath with DS. Some might think it's weird, but we take baths together and he is such a joy to watch play with the bubbles and toys in the tub.
3 - The excitment in his eyes and smile when he sees me walk through the door. I loves how he crawls to me as fast as he can.
What are yours?
Re: Three and Three. Come play :)
1. Clipping DD's nails - when she was younger I would nurse her while clipping. Now, I have to hold onto her hand so she doesn't move it and she screams the whole time.
2. Putting DD to sleep. It is a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng process and very frusterating.
3. Waking up in the middle of the night to tend to DD.
3 things I love (and it was hard to just list 3!):
1. DD dancing to music.
2. DD belly laughing.
3. DD giving me kisseys
3 things I dislike:
Washing bottles
Waking up early on weekends
Clipping fingernails
3 things I love:
How he looks at me when he's impressed with something
Adorable little boy clothes
Seeing so much of DH in my kid
EDIT - can I add one more dislke? FOOD ALLERGIES! My kid is like the exorcist again after eating half of a strawberry. EEK.
1. Bedtime Routine - Usually he eats and then I rock him to sleep, but lately he's been wanting to fall asleep on his own in his crib. While I should be thankful for this change, it makes me sad that we don't have that alone time anymore.
2. After Bath Routine - He's great in the bathtub, but the lotion/dressing afterwards is a nightmare. He's totally not interested in laying still while I get those things done.
3. Feeding Solids - As lazy as this is going to sound, giving him a bottle is SO much easier.
1. The excitment he has when I walk thru the door after working all day.
2. His cheeks. I love smothering them with kisses!
3. His random "Ma, ma, ma, ma" rants.
