Did it go about the same as an older child (if you've also PT'ed an older child)? E was 2 years 8 months, B was 2 years 6 months. M will be 2 in a few weeks and has been in panties for almost 2 weeks. This wasn't my doing at all, but she started refusing diapers. The first couple of days we had 5/6 accidents, and now we're down to 1 accident a day (last Friday she had zero accidents, and we were even at the zoo all day). She is a little slower getting the poop in the potty thing down, and is holding it for a couple of days (not like her at all, she usually goes a few times per day). I'm not expecting anything here, because she's so young, but I'm just wondering what it may be like for her. Ethan and Bella were potty trained in one day each, but of course they were older. I'm also not holding my breath and know we might be back to diapers at some point. Sorry if this makes no sense. I'm operating on little sleep and Ethan's looking over my shoulder trying to read all the words out loud and it's distracting, lol (Mom, what does THAT say?)
Re: If your kid was PTed before/right around 2, come in
yep, mine was the opposite.
#1 was around 20 months. I couldn't handle two in diapers so I was happy she was so excited about it.
#2 was around 22 months....RIGHT after #3 was born. Again, couldn't stand two in diapers, and she was excited to be a big girl.
#3 (boy...so that could be a difference too) wasn't ready until about 2 1/2. And I didn't have that motivation to push any sooner....wanted to keep my baby a baby.
My DD#1 took 14 months to PT. I think I started way too early. Anyway she was fully pt'd by the month she turned 3. DD#2 is on day 4 and she is 21 months. She is on her way. She will be a lot younger than #1. (See above post)
Good Luck!
