We have a 2 bedroom home and just found out our second is a Girl, first was a boy. Until we can move into a larger space with an extra bedroom the 2 have to share a room. Does anyone have suggestions or pic's of what they might have done in this situation? DS has Chocolate Brown and Celery Green right now.
Thanks for any help!
Re: 2U2 share a room, different gender
We have this theme:

The walls are painted matching, we have the border, and we have a lot of the accessories.
Given, it isn't the most gender neutral theme, but it works for now.
We have 2BR on our main floor, so this is the layout we're going to use for years to come since we want to keep the kids on the same level and close to us while they're small. When the kids are older (maybe 4 and 3?) we will renovate an upstairs bedroom and make it really girly for DD.
My DS has the same color scheme for everything, lol. I just happen to like those colors and I wanted gender neutral in case we ever had a girl. We don't know what this LO will be yet but if it turns out to be a girl she and DS will share a room until they're older (or we decide to give up our office or move to a bigger home). I think I'd add accents of pink to her crib, like the bedding and a girly looking name plaque on the wall but that's about it (until she got her own room). You could report this question on the nurseries and baby gear board, might get some more ideas there too.

We are in the same boat. Luckily I don't like the traditional blue or pink for genders. We have peanut butter walls, plus one exposed brick wall. Colors are browns, green, orange...Here are the bedding sets we have.
DD's (the mobile has since come down)
for LO (boy)
