NBR: BCP issues --Yaz?

I started Yaz 3 months ago.  I had been on Yasmin, and that is what I was taking before pregnancy too.  I switched because my insurance didn't cover Yasmin anymore so it was about $70/month or switch.  OBGYN changed me to Yaz because it's supposed to be very similar and it is covered my my insurance. 

I haven't had a regular period on Yaz yet.  I have been having mid-cycle breakthrough bleeding that is more substantial than my "periods" are now.  The breakthrough bleeding lasts about 2-3 days and my "period" lasts about 1 day. 

I've switched BCPs in the past without any issues and although I do have PCOS I have always been regular on BCPs.  

Anyone have this experience with Yaz?  I'm about ready to switch back if it's never going to even out.
