William is fascinated with the whole concept of "doggy heaven." I don't think he really realizes that Newman is gone.

We're going over there Sunday night for dinner, so that might be rough.

That freakin sucks. I just posted on your facebook but my mom called me today asking if I could help her get her lab in the car to go to the vet (he was completely fine yesterday). I went over there and he wouldn't get up or eat. We finally got him up and he kept falling over .

Finally got him in the car and the vet told them he was bleeding internally. Did xray and found a huge growth on his spleen.

So Dickens and Uncle Newman are probably running around doggy heaven together!
