What doll house do you have and what age did you get it for dd

Im wanting to get dd a doll house for her birthday or christmas.  I may get it for her birthday and buy a few things for birthday and a few more for christmas.  Dh thinks she is to young for one this year I think 4 is a great age and if we get it at 5 she will out grow it to quick because of getting in to barbies or something else. 

So what age did you buy dd one and what one do you have?

Loving Family Dollhouse from Toys R Us. We bought it for her for her 2nd Christmas and she literally has played with it daily since then and now she is 4 and still plays with it daily. It was the best present ever. We bought the house and a few rooms for her and then told her grandmothers what rooms to buy each because the house with all the rooms was expensive but the best money ever spent!

We got this one.  I liked it because it comes fully furnished with nice furniture, but 3 year old appropriate (sturdy).  When she is older, we can decorate it if she is interested, since it is plain wood on the inside.  She likes that it is pink.  It is a nice size for her to play with now.  She uses it for her mini dolls, strawberry shortcake, and little pet shop, along with the M&D dolls.

We're doing about the same for Nat that Heidi did.....she turns 3 in November.  We're buying the house and a few rooms, then we put some more rooms on her list for Mamaw.  I think she'll love it. 

 You could buy one of the bigger ones that will accomodate (sp?) the Barbies as well - I think most of the wooden ones will (they say "up to 12" dolls).

last christmas---- just shy of 4th bday.  dd loves it. fully furnished. fits her princess (barbie size) dolls.

We got the Savannah doll house for the girls last Christmas.  DD#1 was 3.5 and DD#2 was almost 2.  (It was mostly for DD#1.)  They both play with it, but mostly DD#1 and she loves it.  We didn't get the ones where you have to decorate it and/or paint it b/c she's/they're definitely too young for that, but they love the one we have and play with it a lot.
