What doctor should I go to for this?

I've been having some pretty nasty cramps on the left side of my pelvis for the last 1-2 weeks. They're not excruciatingly painful, more like an uncomfortable pulling feeling followed by pain and they're becoming more frequent. I never have cramps so this is very unusual for me.

I don't think it's a UTI since I'm not having any of the usual symptoms for one. Do I call my GP or OBGYN?

Personally, I'd start with the GP unless you're convinced they're cramps of your lady parts.

I think I've forgotten where my lady parts are. They haven't been used in so long.

I'd call your OB/GYN, unless (for some reason) you need a referral through your GP/PCP.

If its pelvic pain of any sort I would start at your OB/GYN-- I would guess your GP would just refer you there anyway plus my old OB treated me when I came in w/ pelvic pain that ended up being my appendix needing to come out

I'd go to whichever doctor I'm more comfortable possibly looking at my hoo-ha. So the OB.

I would go to the OB. It could be a cyst on your ovary. I have had those before and they can get pretty painful!!

GP.  If they can't find it, they will send you to the Gyn.  I got worked up for similar symptoms, and the GP took care of it for me.
