Saw your post about the Brazilian Blowout.  I just had it done this morning.  I also had the regular Keratin Complex done in June.  My Keratin lasted a good 4 mos before I noticed it seemed to be washing out.  It was still smooth once I styled it but the blow dry time was getting longer (closer to what it used to be).  Downside to Keratin, is the 3 day window of not washing your hair, no ponytails or clips, or tucking it behind your ear!  Definitely do-able but not tons of fun.

The Brazilian Blowout should last between 10-12 weeks with the same results as Keratin.  The bonus is that you can wash the same day and have pony tails etc.  But you want to make sure it's the official Brazilian Blowout, the product says it on it.

There is a new Keratin Express that people are comparing to the BB but it only lasts 5-8 weeks and I was quoted $220 for it, definitely not worth it.  

Sounds like we have similar hair, not curly more frizz if left to airdry.  Long blow dry time (40mins) and still would flat iron to smooth it out.  Totally annoying!  I think you would love it!!
