Baby Names

Respond ONLY if you like my names..

Plesae do not respond if you do not like the names I picked. It is not your place to tell me what to name my child even if i am asking for opinions.

Tell me you like my names...

Milkshake Cory

Wrench Sweden

Soapy Elise (my favorite)

Remember do not reply if you dont like my names.!!!

Re: Respond ONLY if you like my names..

  • LOVE them. You're so creative. I've never heard any of those names before. Your kid won't be one of two in a class and he will surely thank you for that!

  • I love Soapy Elise! It's like Sophie, but with a twist to make it different and unique!

I just hate it when people disagree with the original posters on this board. It's like they think posting here actually means giving opinions!

  • LMAO!! Why would you want opinions with great names like thatWink

  • I like Milkshake, but only for a girl. For a boy it doesn't really make sense...ya know?

    Wrench- LOVE

Sweden- (serious-this was my pick in the "country name" thread yesterday!)

Soapy- Wouldn't it just be ironic if she turned out to be a total dirtball?

My vote goes to Milkshake Sweden (if we're allowed to mix n match!)

  • My favourite is Milkshake Cory, but may I respectfully suggest the alternate spelling - "Mylkshaike".  This is much more distinctive and will let your LO stand out from all the other Milkshakes in the schoolyard.

That is a great idea...you girls are the best!

  • you don't want your baby to be one of like 16 wrenches do you? it's definitely gaining in popularity so i would only use it as a middle name.

milkshake cory is my favorite. beautiful and classic, you can't go wrong with that one.

  • I love the name Sweden.

  • I like them, especially Soapy Elise. It sounds very clean.

My only concern with this name is that it may sound a little informal to the untrained ear. Have you considered maybe "Sanitizer Foam Elise", and call her "Soapy" for short? Sanitizer foam is really in these days, why not make it a name?

omg I totally agree, and what a professional name to! You are by far the most creative and original person I know. Now just remember if you and your SO love the names that is 100% the only thing that could possibly matter, after all its not like someone else has to live with this name other then the two of you! Grats and gl picking from these gems!

Oh man, I laughed until I cried, fo real.  Thanks, ubermoose!

But seriously, OP, I think you should reconsider Milkshake - it could be a controversial name since it's offensive to some groups, especially those who are lactose intolerant.

  • I really like Milkshake, who wouldn't, but I worry that Cory is too dated. It just screams 80s to me. My fist thought was to throw in another K to make it Corky, but that's too 80s too.

If you are looking for alternatives, may I suggest Hickory Lemonade? If we had a girl the first time that would have been her name  squeee!
