He's been so hard to get to bed at night-- like taking an hour and a half to get to bed, and then waking up at stupid o'clock. But he's SUCH a turd if he doesn't nap that I haven't been trying too hard to keep him up, KWIM?

That's such a tough stage, when they're cranky without a nap but stay up too late if they have one. For a long time, Evan would take a nap every other day, then it became once a week, and now it's less than that. He's finally to the point where he truly doesn't need it and doesn't get cranky in the evenings.

That is usually the single surest sign that they DO need a nap!
I hope he goes to bed for you. If DD crashes out, then she's burning the midnight oil
