We are moving from a sedan to a larger vehicle, and it's between the CX-9 and the Acadia. We have two kids, 6 months and 3, both in car seats. We would use the third row occasionally, but my concern is the lack of harness attachment and Latch connection in the third row.
If you have a CX-9, can you put the stationary seats in it and still move the second row seats enough for adults to get to the third row?
Can anyone help ease my mind on this decision?
Thank you!

Re: Does anyone have a CX-9?
We have a 2008 CX-9.
We have used the third row two ways:
-a FF convertible seat and an infant RF seat in the second row-sliding the seat forward to load the 3rd row. (a little awkward, but totally doable.)
-The FF convertible seat in the third row installed with the shoulder belt rather than the latch (an easy install with our particular seat), leaving a space open in the second row to easily fold the seat and load an adult into the third row.
I don't think I'd use the third row all of the time that way (with convertible seat always installed in the third row) but for the occasional extra passengers, it worked great.
We love our CX-9-- fantastic features and incredibly comfortable and easy to drive.
Not exactly what you are asking but we bought a 2011 Pilot a few weeks ago and it has latch in the 3rd row. Actually it is the only SUV with capability to latch 4 carseats at one time. 3 in the second row and 1 in the third. We only use the 3rd row occasionally. I love my Pilot!
