my sil uses 365 (available at whole foods) prenatal vitamins. i was wondering if any of you do or want to recommend the over the counter prenatals that you might use? any info is helpful!
I went through 1 bottle of 365 prenatals while TTGP, but now I'm using the Trader Joe's brand. They're both pretty big (as are most prenatals), but I hated the way the 365 brand smelled - they smelled like fish food to me.

I use a prenatal by rainbow light. I get it at target. It says it is supposed to easy on the stomach which I would agree with. But just like all other prenatals they are huge.
I started with CVS pharmacy brand but then switched to 365. The CVS brand was smaller and coated so it was more palatable, but I trust Whole Foods more. It does matter whether or not vitamins are chelated (bonded to an amino acid your body will absorb) for example. However, I think anything your Dr says ok, is ok.
I know your post is 7 month old, but I was wondering how your pregnancy went while taking the whole foods 365 prenatals? At what point in your pregnancy did you start taking them? I took them for 3 weeks from 6 and half to 9 and half weeks pregnancy and then stopped because I noticed the high amount of vitamin A in it. I am so worried now because of it, I heard too much vit A can cause birth defects. Your opinion and experience would be greatly appreciated!
Did you end up taking the 365 prenatals? Did your sister use it throughout her whole pregnancy? I have been taking them for 3 weeks but stopped after realizing how much vitamin A there was in it.

Hi b55c,
