Ok, I know we all weren't happy to have c-sections, but most of us probably got pictures of it, and we cherish those no matter what. Share your first pictures!

I am so jealous you got picture of your baby, dh, and yourself right after the baby was born! I was put to sleep for both of my c section and didn't met my kids until they were over an hour old. I wasn't the first to hold the babies either, they allowed my family to hold them. I WAS PISSED!

I was shaking so hard that I can't believe I could even hold her at all.

I didn't get to hold my first until several hours afterward. I didn't get to hold my second for several days. I'm super jealous of those of you with such lovely pics of your brand spankin' new babies.

Ditto, I didn't get to hold DD until the next day...and we forgot our camera, so all we have are crappy cell phone pics. Boo! Maybe next time

I won't post mine because it is of her actually coming out, I think most people would find it gross or triggering. But I'm glad I have some way to see her first moments.

I'd have loved this sort of photo of DS! We don't have any photos until recovery, and they're all horrible (56 hours of labour followed by an emergency c/s), because we're not allowed a camera in the operating room. But this is a fun post.

Ditto! I even got back to my room and they were still doing routine stuff with DS in the nursery. Things WILL be different this time!!!
Here's one of DS in the OR:

My water broke in the middle of the night at 32 weeks, so we were off to the hospital without ANYTHING! No camera. The first pic I have of DS is in his isolette in the NICU when he was several hours old.

Great post idea! Here I am holding her for the first time, getting wheeled out of the OR.

I barely remember this or the several hours afterward because I was so drugged up.

I was put under general anesthesia so I didn't see ds until I was awake in recovery...about 2 hours after he was born.
Here is a picture that a nurse took for DH while I was still knocked out... (poor little forecep marks)
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~

Fresh out the belly! I think she looks "angel like" the way the light hits her on the head. It's a little gooie but it's the best picture ever to me.
Our first photo together
Our anesthesiologist (sp?) turned out to be a fabulous photographer.
