Clicky Poll: How late is too late to call?

Because DH's fam ALWAYS calls after 9 and I personally think it's rude.  Every now and then, got it, but they NEVER call before 9.[Poll]

Personally, I get ticked when people call after 9pm unless its an absolute emergency.

Let me put it this way, one of the National Senatorial Commissions just called at 8:56 after I had JUST put down two very sick kids to bed and I almost broke it off in the dude's @ss!  Granted, I'm extremely stressed from taking care of the kids alone for 4 days but still, when the phone rings past 9 (and it's my HOME phone and not my cell) it better for a good reason!

It's never too late. If I don't want to be bothered I simply just don't answer, or sometimes I just turn my phone off altogether.

Generally, after 9.  

However we generally call my parents between 9-9:30...I just called them at 9:57.  

So anything after 10 irks me, but the texts from DH's drunk students (local college - so they are 19-40 yrs old) at midnight or 1 a.m. totally piss me off.  

One of these days when this Desmond character calls, I'm just going to lay into him.

I don't get upset at all. I prefer texts, but we answer at all hours. We have too many family members that could have an emergency. DD sleeps through them anyway.
