My son has worn the BumGenius 3.0 diaper for 2 years now. He is potty trained during the day, but still wears a diaper during nap/bed. He had an impetigo rash on his penis so we used disposables for a few weeks while we loaded him up on prescription creams to heal it. Now he's back to wearing the BG's and he has leaked through them the past few times he wore them. They are double stuffed with hemp inserts and I doubt there is a problem with the inserts causing the leak as they didn't before. I looked on their website and see that they go up to 35+ pounds. He is 32 pounds.
What do you think? I'll see if he leaks again tonight.
Re: Did your child outgrow BG's?
DS outgrew the rise at 16 months.
are they soaked when he leaks out? If they are he is probably outgrowing them. If they arent soaked then you may have elastic issues, or repelling.
DD is 3 years old, a little under 35 lbs, and still fits into BG's... but she has a pretty short rise, so she tends to fit in diapers past the upper weight limit...
