I am going tomorrow to have granular tissue cut . This sucks. From the day I had Sophie something felt off. When I got home i used a mirror and looked. What i thought were my stiches that were bleeding was actually granular tissue that tore and didn't heal properly. when i went for my 4 week checkup my ob prescribed an antibiotic and took cultures b/c she didn't know what it was. i went back a week later and she called it brushburn and it was a "skidmark". i went back today for a colposcopy today and since it still didn't heal she had her husband look. Since I was under magnifiction he looked and said the tissue needs cut and stitched back together. So I am going tomorrow to have this done. It's going to feel like my recovery all over again. It just sucks b/c I felt the original stitches go in and now I am going to feel it again.
Re: have to have a procedure done(possible tmi)
oh, that sounds painful! I hope the procedure is easy and you'll be feeling better soon.
will you be in the office tomorrow? I'll be there in the afternoon to have my IUD put in! Maybe we'll run into eachother?!
Ugghhh I'm so sorry! I feel for you! I still hadn't healed after 6 weeks and still hurt. And I still to this day am not right since I had T, and have gone through 12 yes, 12 therapy sessions to try and fix things. I can finally say I am doing better but still not 100%, DH and I just are careful and know how to "make it work" . Makes me wonderf if I ever will be back to normal!
This is what I was going to ask you too and foregot! Do you get any extended time off for healing?
she didn't mention anything about more time off.
Nikcole-It's not an in office procedure. i have to go to sisters to have it done
m/c 1/2/08 and 3/12/08
Eve Amelia- Born 2/24/09. 6lb 9.9oz
Natalie Ruth - Born 6/13/11 7lb 6.6oz
I swear, lady parts are evil! lol I am sorry you have to have that done, I hope you heal up fast! I also have my fingers crossed that your colpo comes back clear too!
Good luck!
Oh, that really sucks! I felt my stitches too - I think that part hurt more than the rest of labor. I can still distinctly remember that, but the rest of l&d has seemed to fade.
The only thing good is maybe by taking care of it surgically now you will heal properly and not have extended pain. Mine still hurts.
Good luck tomorrow, I hope the recovery goes smoothly.
ug no fun! hope it's not too bad and over quickly. I had "down there" issues after having DD, got a cellulitius infection...most painful thing EVER! (that I've ever experienced personally)
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
