I read your post below about it being hard taking Sean out to restaurants. I feel your pain. Ava was no problem taking out to eat up until a couple months ago. It's disappointing because we like going out to eat too. Hopefully this won't last long!
Ha, yeah it sucks because I used to brag about how well-behaved he was when we took him out to eat. We went to St. Michael's on Saturday and ate lunch outside on the water. About 30 seconds after we put him in the high chair he started screeching LOUDLY to get out and I had to go walk him up and down the dock to look at the birds and the boats. Then my mom came and switched with me so I had a few minutes to scarf down my food. Fun! I hope they both get through this little phase quickly.
We have been in this phase for a while - and we had a few big disasters and we stopped going out for awhile. It has finally started getting better the last few weeks though. Now that DD can use crayons w/o just eating them and she likes to stand in her chair (not the high chair or booster) she seems happier. My friend also suggested not getting her food first - and said her LO is happy sitting waiting w/ everybody else, but goes bonkers when she eats first and has to wait for everybody to eat.
