Local Mamas... a Q about going to Logan for you..

We are traveling from a hotel (via shuttle) to Logan this week. We are not bringing out DS's carseat to the airport or on our trip. But then I realized, it's a mile and a half trip TO the airport. I called the hotel and they dont have a carseat for this purpose and they also said that they dont have a policy about taking toddlers in a shuttle without a carseat. DH thinks that they wont end up letting us take the shuttle without a carseat. Thoughts? What do city Mamas do in taxis and such?

i've wondered what to do about taxis as well... but when we went to Logan we took the silver line bus and i wore my 2 month old in a bjorn.

I don't know about this specific hotel, but in Boston women bring their babies on the T and buses and shuttles, etc. to from airports all the time.  They just keep the baby in the stroller or they use a bjorn or equivalent.

our hotel shuttle did not care that we didnt have a carseat. The trip took about 6 minutes and was fine. Thanks!
