February 2011 Moms

for those having little girls...

I came across this on etsy...

https://www.etsy.com/shop/GraciousMay?ref=em

I know baby shoes are so impractical but I'm tempted to spend the $30-40 just because they are SO cute! I wonder how hard they would be to make? Any sewing mamas on here? I can make basic things, but these little shoes look like they would be a little challenging.

Re: for those having little girls...

  • I might have to buy a pair too!  The gray maryjanes w/ the pink roses on the said match an outfit my mom bought.  Too cute!!

  • Ohmygoodness those are so adorable!

Definitely don't have the cash to spare, but maybe I'll drop hints to my mom when Christmas comes around...

  • Cute! I've been meaning to learn how to crochet girly shoes, but I can't even get around to working more on the blanket I started. These poor girls will be in college by the time I finish it.

  • They are really stinking cute! My grandmother knits and has knit a ton of booties for DD. They are easy to get on, they stay on, and are super cute with everything. Maybe just a bit more practical too.

  • Oh they are soooo cute! I added the seller to my favorites. I might have to get a pair, but I don't know how I could pick just one! Thanks for sharing!
  • those are super cute.  Love'em!  I also like Pediped shoes.  Check those out.  They are about the same price but I have seen some on their website for about $17.  I can't sew or knit anything so I'm no help there.

  • I'm a sewer...I've never made these kind of shoes before, but there are patterns for them in JoAnn Fabrics.  So, I'm sure they aren't very hard for someone who sews...and probably not even too bad for someone who just knows how to run a machine.   I plan on making all kinds :)  They're so tiny, they don't even take up a lot of fabric or anything!
