I keep seeing them referenced on here, so I just impulsively bought two of the overnights. Will they fit a newborn? What do you pair them with - cover, wool? They're kind of pricey, so I hope they work well!
That's how I ended up with 2 of them! Of course most of what I have I found referenced on here:) Yes, the fitteds need a cover of some sort. I like the wool, but honestly have yet to try anything else. The wool happened to work well and it breathes great. They are quite pricey for the overnights, but I have found that price generally goes with quality in the world of CDs. Unfortunately they did not work for us because LO is a big guy and I didn't see them fitting him until he toilet trained. I have no idea on how they fit a newborn as I have only tried them in the past 6 weeks or so and DS was already 27 in and 20 lbs. I imagine they would work great though.

I love mine. They may fit a newborn because you can just use one soaker and fold down the rise. I use either wool or a plain old Thirsties cover. They do have a short rise, so i am not sure they will fit all through potty training, but they work now and DD can go 14 hours without a leak so its worth it to me.
I also LOVE my BSRB! I wish they stocked more at a time though.

They may fit a NB. Basically they just have a multi-layer of inserts that hold the pee overnight. I pair mine with a wool cover.
Really, it's a just a board fad. Another diaper will take it's place soon. I'm advocating for BSRB. :oD
I have to agree. I bought one hoping it would be our night-time magic bullet, but I had to stuff it with an AFFF hemp insert and a hemp doubler and cover it with wool so that DD1 wouldn't leak through overnight. For a light-to-moderate wetter I guess it would be ok ...
I also find the rise to be short. I also have a heavy wetter and although they do fit and work, I can't see them lasting that much longer due to rise (DS is 18 lbs). I also bought a B4 for night time use and that is also bullet proof and fits much better.
They do work for our heavy wetter. We also love Goodmamas. BSRBs don't at all. It really just depends on the baby, fad or not. Try a few things and see what works best for you!

Change B4 to GM but otherwise ditto all of this. I'm going to try a B4 next. I'll probably sell the MSO soon because the fit isn't great on DS.

I only started using them when DD was about 6 months, so I have no nb experience.
