I've seen it tons of places in the form of longie, shorties, etc. I dont understand what any of this is. Will someone explain to me Wool and CD's? Anything and everything? LOL
So... They are wool diaper covers, to be used like.... flip covers?
I'm with you. That section didn't really tell me anything except that wool is absorbent. Still don't understand the logistics of it. Would love some more clarification.
Basically, when lanolized (a slick waxy substance - though you don't use enough to make the wool feel waxy) it will both repel water (because of the lanolin) and absorb (because of the wool).
When lanolized it will function just like any other cover, but better because it's breathable - which is better for babies bottom
That said, I still love my Thirsties covers too
