Update on my pink eye- not fun!

I went back to the Doctor today because my eye looks terrible, even after 3.5 days of antibiotic drops. My eye is so red and underneath and around  it is swollen and painful to touch. I knew something wasn't right.

Good thing I did because apparently I have a serious eye infection. I have to go on stronger antibiotocs and go back to the dr tomorrow and Friday for a follow up.

She said if anything at all changes to go straight to the ER. She said eye infections can easily lead to sepsis and death. (her words) OMG.

I am one of those people who freak out alot, so I am nervous wreck of course.

I am so glad to went back in, in this case I was much better safe than sorry!

Oh, good grief!  That sounds awful.  For Jack's sake, please tell me the doctor gave you an eye patch to wear.  Arrrrrrrrgh!  (sorry, laughing with you...not at you).

Ewww, that really stinks.  I hope your new meds clear the infection up ASAP. I had no idea that eye infections could be so dangerous.

And like Lyons suggested, I think you should rock the patch.  Just for Jack.

It is a pretty awesome coincidence that I am a pirate for Halloween, so that eye patch will come in Handy!

Geez Melissa, that's terrible.  I still remember how miserable I was with pink eye but it got better in a couple days.  I hope this round of antibiotics does the trick for you.  You definitely should rock the eye patch!

Wow, that sounds horrible.  I hope it clears up soon!  It's amazing what antibiotics have done for DD's.  She's back to her normal self.  Hopefully the new antibiotic does the same for you!
