whats your idea of a romantic date?

Trying to figure out what to do next weekend for DH's birthday (and mine too)  Kids are spending the night elsewhere....

What would you do if you had an entire free night.

    Honestly, right now it would just be having a night to ourselves, get rowdy drunk, and have sloppy drunk sex.  That would be romantic and fun to me!  I feel sooo adult right now I need a night to let loose and have some silly fun.  I can't remember the last time either of us acted like anything other then responisible mature adults.  Bleh.  Screw traditional romance.

    Can you define "romantic" for me? I'm not sure I even know what the word means...

    Actually, DH and I had a date last weekend. Dinner and a show with drinks and dessert at home afterward. That worked for me.

    Anything that ends in sex ;o)

    But, if we could do anything, we usually try to find a play we would be both like (which, for him, only means murder mysteries) and our absolutely favorite restaurant.  The restaurant for me is usually enough; I don't need sex after their foie gras ;o)  If money was no object, I'd really like to get a night at super nice boutique hotel.
