I've had a major stink issue for a long time. I've tried everything from dawn to bleach, and nothing has kicked the fishy smell. I'm going to try bac out today.. but am not sure how much to add to the wash to let it soak?
Have you ever used Desitin or A&D with your diapers (even with a liner)? The fish oil in them causes the diapers to stink like fish. The only cure for that is a good Dawn stripping.
The only diaper rash cream I have used is California Baby, which is on the safe list, right? Most of my diapers were bought new, but a couple were used. If the used ones were washed with the new ones could the diaper cream residue get into the new ones? That's the only thing I can think of.
I have tried adding a squirt of Dawn into the wash and lots of rinses. It didn't seem to make a difference.

I think I'm just sh*t outta luck.
