Did you go to Bates this year? We tried to go yesterday, and wow. I had never seen it so crowded! It was bumper to bumper after we turned onto the street, and there so many cars in the parking lot/surrounding fields. The lines of people were overwhelming, so we just turned around and left, since it was only an hour til closing. Wondering if it was just a fluke or what. I swear we've gone on weekends before, and it has never been *that* crowded.

    We went the first weekend in October (like 10/3 or something). It was nuts. Not as fun with all those people. Last year we went during the week because that was when Jon was out of work :)...much better.

    It's almost not fun anymore. :(

    I know. The line to buy the pumpkins was stretching to the parking lot. We're planning on taking Ry out of school early to go this week. I'm sure that's a valid reason to miss school, right? Stick out tongue
