We're asking for an umbrella stroller for Christmas and I'm looking at Consumer Reports and getting more confused and unsure. They recommend the Uppababy G-Lite, but it doesn't recline. I don't plan on using this stroller until my son is at least 6 mos, but is it important for the stroller to recline at that age? I feel like if he got tired while we were out i'd feel bad if he had to nap sitting straight up. Any other recommendations on strollers would be much appreciated!
Re: Umbrella stroller recs please
We have a Peg Perego Aria OH as our "car" stroller. It isn't an umbrella fold, but it is super lightweight and has a big basket for shopping, which is mainly what I use it for. I do love having the full recline since DS can (and has) napped in it. He definitely wouldn't have napped if it didn't recline.
I've heard the Maclarens are kind of tippy, but I haven't really used one myself. Definitely try them out in store beforehand if you can!
-- this except the Aria has been replaced by the Peg Perego Si, which I have. ditto on tippy maclarens.
