AW: One year ago today...

Alexis and I woke up @ 4:30 to get ready and head out to Margate. When we walked out of the house @ about 5:00, it was still dark out. We stepped out on to the stairs, to walk down to the car and we saw a shooting star. We both made a wish that morning and although I don't know what Alexis wished for but my wish definitely came true that morning

That 1.5-ish hour drive that morning took us here:

The IVF Florida clinic in Margate.

It was a really rough morning since I had a not-so-great IUI experience but the end result was definitely worth it. Once the procedure was done, I laid on the table hoped and prayed and Alexis stood on the other sie of the room flexing his muscle and doing a very memorable rendition of "We are the Champions". 

11 days later....

38 weeks and 2 days later....

 

I'd say all in all it was a pretty productive morning
