Middle name for Luke

Any suggestions on a middle name for Luke?  My last name ends in "er" so I don't really like the sound of a middle name ending in "er."  We're still not even 100% decided on the name Luke yet.  I don't know if it sounds too plain since it is only one syllable.  I am having a very hard time with boys names.  Thanks.

Luke will be our LO's name if he is indeed a he

We plan on using either Robert (DH's fathers name & my recently deceased granfather), Michael (DH & my fathers name) or Anthony (because I like the way it sounds). GL!

If you think Luke is too plain you could always go with Lucas and use Luke as a nn. I think you may get a better flow using Lucas.

We considered Luke both times, and the middle names would have been the same family names our boys have now, so Luke David or Luke Riley. I thought they both flowed okay.

I prefer Lucas nn Luke, though

If DH and I have a boy he'll be named Luke. We both LOVE it! His middle name will probably be Henry. It's a family name on DH's side.
