Help me with my super soaker baby......

We are using gdiapers, flip, and bumgenius 4's right now........NOTHING is preventing leaks for Dominic.  Nothingthat we have.     Am I putting the diapers on him wrong?   Granted, I'm used to diapering girls, but could I really be that clueless putting a diaper on a boy???

I really don't want to switch brands of diapers because Natalie is doing just fine with them and I really don't want to spend more $$ on a seperate system for Dominic.  I will however wouldn't mind adding doublers to my stash.....maybe I should.

He does have a big body and relatively thin legs in comparison......could that be an issue??

Suggestions/ideas/support... anything?

    Are the diapers soaked when you change him?  If so, you need more absorbency, or more frequent changes.  If they aren't soaked, you might have a repelling problem, and then you'll have to strip.  Or it might be possible the fit isn't right for him?  What kind of inserts do you use?  I've been slowly replacing my mf inserts with mf/hemp combo inserts, which are much more absorbent.

    Natalie and Dominic use the same inserts - microfleece/hemp combo.    They are not repelling.   I've been changing him every 1 - 2 hours.    Sometimes, they are soaked - sometimes they're not soaked but he has a leak.....I bet it's the fit......crap.

    Hemp! Get some hemp inserts/doublers and give that a try before buying any new dipes.

    YES! Huuuuuuuuuuge difference.
