Cloth Diapering

planet wise diaper pail liner

Okay, I know I JUST asked about pail liners last night, but for some reason this is becoming a super hard choice for me!  I know a lot of you use and like the planet wise bags for pail liners.  On the website I am looking at there are either the large planet wise bags with zippers or the planet wise diaper pail liners.  Which ones do you use/prefer?  I am leaning towards the pail liner.  A few commenters on the kellyscloset website said that it sometimes fills with water in the wash.  Has that happened to you if you have it?

Thanks for all of your help.  I can't believe how much I am obsessing over pail liners...

  • I use the pail liners and yes they do collect water in the wash.  I just pull everything else out first and then dump the water out.

  • I have both.  We use the pail liners for our pail and the large hanging bags when we travel.  For everyday use, I prefer the pail system.  Our pail (a tall lidded kitchen can from Target) holds smells in better than the hanging bag.  It also holds more diapers.

This!  They don't fill that much but they do hold SOME water in, afterall that is their job! I like the pail liners, very easy to use and I like having a nice BIG wide open "mouth" to drop my diapers into instead of fussing with opening a bag or holding something open as I dump a poopy diaper into it!

Same here!  And the liner does collect water but it's not a big deal if you pull it out of the wash last.

  • I usually put my pail liner in a zippered lingerie bag before I toss it it. That helps with the water collecting in it!
