what is your child/children requesting for the Holidays???
if they are?
dd wants the Fur Real GoGo Walking Dog and the makeup doll head (she saw one in a toys to grow on catalog and so far, it's the best looking one ,,, just $40. have a rec???) and she wants a ballerina doll.
ds wants that Stinky the Garbage truck and the Build A Saurus set he also wants a "skateboard" which he also calls scooters skateboards....
I was thinking of getting them some instruments too. any recs?

I know... every commercial is "I WANT!" ugh. my MIL gave us the money to get the damn dog and ds's gift (which I guess will be Stinky since they both = in $) . that way they won't need to ship anything. still... everything she sees is $40-100. Girl needs to settle a bit... gonna get some $5 barbie dolls. lol.
She keeps asking for a ballerina doll and Melissa and Doug have a cute one. we'll see? I'm nervous to shop too soon this year.
Ds wants a Lego Deathstar, an iPod touch and an iPad. Um yeah, kid. Keep dreaming, LOL.
DS1 wants everything. Seriously. He wants me to put anything he sees on TV or in an ad or at the store on his list.
Consistently, though, he's been asking for a Pillow Pet penguin and a "car he can push the pedal and drive himself" (aka: a Powerwheel). We already have the Pillow Pet and he likely won't be getting the latter since the budget's tight this year. He got a bike and a scooter last year and I've given all the ideas I had for bigger gifts away (the KidKraft fire and police station, a MobiGo, Toy Story Shake & Go Racetrack). I have no clue what we'll end up doing.
DS2 will probably get a Radio Flyer 3-wheel scooter and a helmet. He's not quite two, but LOVES his brother's and will probably be big enough by the spring.
We'll get them each some new books and possibly some sort of Hot Wheels racetrack/cars because they're both obsessed with them right now.
Olivia wants a tinkerbell skateboard and a tinkerbell scooter....very unlikely that she'll get them:)
If there is a commercial for it, my children want it! I get called from any area of the house to "come see" what they want.
For DS1 that includes Stinky and some pirate ship. For DD, Furry Freenzies, Little Pet Shop toys, Baby Alive Giggles? and many, many, many more.
They want the playdoh cake factory which they will prob get.
They will be getting new anywhere chair covers. They will be getting the new toy story and tinkerbell but we may just get those for the drive to AL.
My DD, too. She's been asking for it since the summer. I ordered it already.

But consistently, the girls have asked for pillow pets and American Girl dolls. Santa will be getting both for both girls (and a pillow pet for DS). They also decided they both wanted a scooter so they asked MIL for that. I'm looking at the Play Dough Cake Factory too, but we might ask my mom for that or my brother is looking for ideas. I think the AG dolls and pillow pets will be the majority of what the girls get. Everything else will be little stocking stuffers and such since the AG dolls are so expensive.
Now for DS?? I have no clue. And his first birthday is less than a month after Christmas. Ugh. No idea what to get him. We have tons of baby/toddler toys, balls, cars, etc. Really, he's going to get shorted this year and hopefully the girls won't notice. We did get him a pillow pet just to play with (not to sleep with). No idea on anything else.
