We've all said it time and again, but I just have to reiterate how much the Hawaii Nesties/Bumpies rock my world!
Sandra and Nancy were so kind to loan me a bunch of baby gear for my stay here in Seattle with Libby. On top of it, they took time from their busy lives to accomodate my schedule in order to deliver it to me and to arrange for me to return it to them. It never ceases to amaze me how incredibly awesome you gals are...I can truly say that even though most of us have never met in person that you are the best friends a girl could have!
If any of you ever find yourself in the Tulsa area...please know I will be happy to "pay it forward"!
Hugs to you all, wherever in the world you may be!
Re: I ? you gals!
It was so great to meet you and Libby! I wanted to let you know that I saw a lot of women in their matching outfits, and even a neata lady with a tiara during my lunch breaks.
You were definitely here during some pretty nice weather, although I bet you were so busy you didn't get a chance to enjoy it. Have a safe trip back home!
Oh, and sorry for not posting the GTG pics - this week has been insane!
I agree, we do have some pretty awesome ladies on this board!
Love the GTG pics! What slings/carriers were you both using? (Not that I need another to feed my obsession but I'm still curious!)

If you're looking for a new carrier you might consider a woven wrap since you can use them for newborns as well as toddlers! And you can wrap in many ways, including back carries, etc.

aww,
hugs all around!
it was so good to *finally* meet you and libby in person! I'm glad you had a good visit (even though you were so busy working!), and I was happy to do whatever I could to help!
it was great to meet Lori and Libby! And to see Sandra and Kristianna again!
re: the wrap - I must look smaller than I actually am, my wrap is 5.2! eek. Wrap size is based on the person that will be doing the carrying and the type of carry that you want to be able to do. I was interested in the front cross carry (like I'm doing in the picture) and various back carries that do a double wrap so I wanted a long one. I still wasn't sure between the 5.2 and one size smaller (as many of the charts indicated) but I figured if I did have extra I could hem it but I actually I think the one smaller may have been too short and I figured if I had excess I could just wrap it around me an extra time before knotting it off.

the one I have is called snow rainbow and that weave colorway is exclusive to pinkletink baby
It's basically like using a moby but because of the woven fabric you can carry a lot more weight. It's very very comfortable. The only downside is trying to put it on while in public or for days when we are getting in/out of the car a lot. I usually just wrap it around in preparation for the front cross carry before leaving. Then put him in once we arrive and tighten it after placing him (then the ends don't fall to the ground). I can also prep and get him in a back carry while sitting in the backseat but that took practice.
