Hello! I have purchased an espresso finish crib and dresser as well as a chocolate brown chair. We are painting the nursery a teal/blue color (here is a link to our bedding https://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=1332873&Ntt=paisley+splash&hdnOnGo=true&Ne=840+4+877+878+5+961+6+29+3+598+11+15+12+506+10+23+585+596+1031+8+18+904+903+969+949+833&submit search.y=0&SearchString=paisley+splash&submit search.x=0&N=4294959029&Nao=0&SO=0&PSO=0&CmCatId=searchresultsthe paint is similar to the paint in the picture).
I am worried things my look a little dark so i was going to put the wall art in white frames and do a white tree branch decal on the wall. Do you think its okay to mix the white with espresso or should i still to dark brown frames? Any other suggestions?
Re: mixing white and espresso?
We have all dark espresso furniture and we have lighter accents on the wall. We painted the wall a pale sage green, put up a wall paper border and a white chair rail. The dark furniture looks great with the white accents of the chair rail. We will have white sheers hanging and a lighter valance as well. I'm thinking we may do lighter baskets for storage in the changing table.
I think you are okay to pair the dark with the white. So far, it's looking great in our nursery!
After two losses, third time was a charm.
