DD has a cold, should I give her a bath?

I usually bath her every other day but she woke up this morning stuffy. She always gets a little chilled at the end of her bath and screams until dressed regardless of what I do, so should I skip the bath until she is feeling better or do you think it even matters? TIA!

I think if you run a hot shower first to get the bathroom steamy, and get her dressed in the warm bathroom, it might be good for her! The steam should help her to feel a little better! You could also have somebody throw a towel in the dryer and get it out right before bathtime is up, so it is nice and cozy for her.

 

But if not... I don't think skipping the bath for a few days will cause any harm.

I'd skip it. Her temp might be messed up anyway a little and you don't want her getting cold.

Yup, I'm going to agree with this. Just make sure she doesn't get chilled and you'll be fine.

i dont bathe LO when shes feeling under the weather. wont harm her anyway.

My pedi tells me warm baths actually help when they have a cold. I would just steam up the bathroom first..but it won't hurt to skip a day without bathing
