for DH.
Seriously... how the F do I get a grown man to clean up after himself?! He just doesn't see crumbs, doesn't close cabinets, or put away snack foods after he takes some. He leaves his underwear on the floor of the bathroom (where the dogs get to it), he throws clothes next to the hamper. I have asked him nicely, meanly... you name it, I've tried it.
Give me your best tips!
Re: I need training tips
OMG these all sound like me.
Well I do put away food I get out.
You and my DH would be a match made in heaven in that case!
He is like a sex camel, I don't think that would work...
"Hey slob, pick up your shiit!"
Yeah, I don't know. I guess I'm lucky that my H is somewhat of a neat freak, even if it is annoying at times.
I can't imagine what our house would look like. Luckily for DH I get on a cleaning kick each night so the house looks good when he's home.
He doesn't need sex very often? Where did you find him?
He is a rare gem indeed. A slob, but a gem, lol. I mean I'm sure he'd like it more often, but he doesn't pester me.
I only wash clothes that make it into the laundry basket. I learn to to turn a blind eye and not get worked up about the clothes left. I used to take his work clothes to the dry cleaner and I would grab the basket and that's what made it to the dry cleaner. His aim has gotten MUCH better.
The crumbs- no idea.
The cabinets open is usually me.
Ugh. DH is a total slob, and I'm quite the opposite. I spend more time cleaning up after him than I do the baby.
Lately, I just throw all of his crap in a laundry basket and shove it in his office. (He treats the entire house like his personal hamper/junk drawer/ pantry). I also don't do his laundry. That was established a while ago, and it does save me lots of time:)
I have to work full-time, just like he does. And I have been known to withhold sex. I know some frown on that. Oh well. (It works, btw, but my husband happens to not be a sex camel:)
I LOL'd at the term "sex camel" hahahahahaha
