Does anyone have an angelcare motion monitor?

Does anyone own an angelcare motion monitor? If you do what do you think of it? I found a brand new one for sale on craigslist for half of what is costs at BRU and from what information/reviews I've found online seems to be a pretty good buy. WDYT? TIA!

Re: Does anyone have an angelcare motion monitor?

  • we have one for DD and I really liked it. I liked knowing that while I sleep she was still breathing, something a video monitor couldnt tell me.  We did have some false alarm, if she scooted down to far or something, but to us it was worth. I have heard of a few people where their baby actually stopped breathing and it saved them

  • I have one and love it.  We started getting false alarms a lot, she likes to sleep at one end of the crib and it was just out of the reading area.  We ended up moving the sensor pad up to the top of the crib and increased the sensitivity and have had no more issues.

  • The peace of mind you get is priceless! DD still uses it and she's almost 2, lol. I highly recommend it.
  • Thanks ladies! I went ahead and got it and definitely think the peace of mind will be more than worth it!
  • We love ours!  It is so reassuring to know if he stops breathing the alarm will go off. We have the deluxe plus model with 2 sensor boards.  We have only used it in the bassinet so far but have not had any false alarms yet.
