Childbirthing Classes

Anyone found good childbirthing classes not through a hospital? I am delivering with a midwife at home and it seems like most of the classes around are through hospitals!

I am taking one at the Allen Birthing Center and the woman teaching it said that there were a mix of people, home births, hospital and birthing center.

She was super nice!

I took Bradley Method classes here too with Stacey. Great class!! Even my husband loved it.

I know what your going through and trying to find the right class is a question of what do you want to learn and what kind of birth do you want to have! There are a lot of different methods : Hypnobirthing, Birthing from within, Bradley Method, just to name a few. I just took a calss from Inanna. I would think a birthing center near you can recomend few options. Where are you located?

I took my childbirth class with Kay Willis at the Nesting Place. She made us feel super comfortable and even came to our home. I highly recommend her!
