It was all an act on the reunion special.  She said she whites out and doesn't know what she is doing.  But then Dr. Drew asked if Leah was safe.  And then Amber said some dumb line of envisioning herself doing it and that she just puts Leah in her crib.

Watching the footage again, I saw the big mark she left on Gary's face when she punched him in the stairway.

That girl needs therapy. Serious cognitive behavioral therapy, and maybe some anti-psychotics. She is obviously manipulative, and probably has Intermittent explosive disorder. 

I'm so sick of hearing about her behavior on tv.
