Embarrasing confession and what do I do?

So I think I may stink.

Right before I ran out of the house for work today I noticed the freaking cat pisssed on DS's beanbag chair. I quickly cleaned it up with papertowels and a warm washcloth and some pet enzyme spray. Now I am sitting here at work and all I can smell is cat pee. I think maybe I got a bit on my sleeve or something while I was cleaning? IDK but it is ALL I can smell and it is gross. I am half tempted to take a personal day so I can go home and change my clothes-plus what if my co-workers can smell it too? Really don't want to be the chic that smells like cat pee..would you go home? WTF. I am having a BAD day.

  • Is there any Lysol or Fabreeze around?

  • LOL!

I'd just take a personal day. It's Friday. Go home and change then go get a mani or a pedi :)

  • You could try some white vinegar on the stinky spot if you can figure out where it is. Otherwise I would probably go home, personally. Cat pee is super stinky and I would be way too embarrassed and distracted to get any work done if I were you.

  • I'd also go home and change or take a personal day.  Cat pee is pretty strong ;o)
  • I woud go home. Cat pee smells so bad other people have to be able to smell it.
  • LOL!  I would just run home and change...but I live just down the street!

  • Crisis averted. It must have gotten on the jacket I was wearing. I took it off and put it in my trunk and I no longer smell like a stinky cat lady. Whew......that sucked.

  • Glad you solved the mystery :)

Funny, kinda gross, and embarrassing story:  years ago I was headed to CA for my first "date" with my now husband.  We had been friends, he moved, we decided to try out a relationship so off to CA I go for spring break.

Anyways, that morning my dog got sprayed by a skunk.  The friend who was going with me got out of her car and goes to pet the dog.  I yell, DONT TOUCH THE DOG!  But i'm too late...

So now the dog smells like skunk and I have no time to do anything about it, I smell like skunk, and my friend smells like skunk.  Then we have to board a plane.  I feel bad for the people sitting around us!  And for my first "date" I stunk!

  • I would run to the store at lunch and shop!  But a personal day would be nice too.
