the days in between.... yikes

The days in between TTC and waiting to take a pregnancy test are silly long and hard! I can't decide if I am making up symptoms or if I really have them. My tummys been upset, tired, nipples hurt one day- but ok now, and tonight I'm cranky for no good reason at all. This time is hard and I'm only on month 1. I can't imagine how hard it is for people who have a hoard time TTC.

    I'm with you.  For me the longest days are from when AF leaves and waiting for ovulation.  This time I ordered Clear Blue Digital. Here's hoping it works this time around.

    And here's to you for a BFP!!!!  Keep us posted.

    Yes they are.  I'm trying really hard not to focus on it this time around.  I know our timing was really good, so praying that it worked, but trying not to go all psycho with the waiting.  I have to wait until next week Thursday to test and it's going to be really hard. 

    Hang in there.  Hopefully you'll get a BFP this month. :)

    It really is hard.  This is my 3rd month TTC and I'm tired of the waiting already. I don't know how people stand it either for the long haul. I feel like giving up already and accepting that I will just have furbabies.. with that said, guess I need to go order some OPK's from Amazon as my temperature dropped bigtime this am. Guess I am out of the running this month...agh.

    Hi McIrish -- my temp dropped this am too (even though I told myself not to temp), and then I tested again and BFN.  I'm hoping AF shows up tomorrow because if not, things get complicated with the next round of TTC and my RE's protocol for IUI, which is what I'm doing, since I'll be out of town over the days when I might need my usual ultrasound etc. 

    While I love the support on this board, here's hoping we all can leave it soon and meet up on the trimester boards....

     

     

     

     

    me - 41 (dx: DOR); DH - 53 (no problems); 7/18/09 - married!; 8/4/09 - BFP on first (real)try; 9/14/09 - missed m/c; 9/15/09 - d&c; 11/09 - 3/10 - 4 natural cycles = BFN; 4/10 - dx hyperthyroidism caused by Graves' disease; 6/10 - thyroidectomy; 7/10 - 12/10 - 1 natural and 5 medicated IUI cycles = BFN; 1/11 - new RE; dx low ovarian reserve (AMH .42; 1/26/11 -- BFP (ectopic) from IUI #6; methotrexate 2/10/11; 6/2/11 - IVF #1 = BFN; 9/12/11 - prescreening for DE; 9/15/11 - IUI #7 (unmedicated)= BFN; 11/8 - begin DE cycle (shared risk program); 12/5 - ER (5 eggs/4 mature/3 fertilized/2 left by day 5) 12/10 - ET of one 1BB blast (expanded, "fair" quality), none to freeze; 12/22 - totally shocked by +hpt; beta #1 = 413; #2 = 3952 2/14 - CVS reveals a healthy baby girl! EDD: 8/27/12 DD born 8/31/12, 10 lbs 10 oz and perfect in every way.

    Sorry your temp dropped as well. I tested even though I knew I should not bother. I just looked at your list of treatments etc and feel like I can't even complain after what you've been through. I don't think I have the endurance for any of that. I'm too early in the game to even go see a RE... Hang in there:-)

    How many days after I ovulate should I wait to test?  I've ready quite a few different answers.
