Anyone do Amazon Mom Subscribe & Save?

This seems like by far the BEST deal on Pampers diapers -- like $28 for a big box instead of around $40. Does anyone do this? How do you handle when you need to change sizes in diapers -- is there an option to change what you've signed up for in terms of automatic delivery?

Re: Anyone do Amazon Mom Subscribe & Save?

  • I just started on this and got my first shipment of diapers yesterday. I used a coupon in Parents magazine and ended up paying $38 for 536 Huggies, I think. Far better deal than a sale price AND coupons at the store. Once you sign up, you can modify or cancel your subscription at any time. So far, so good!

ETA: I just wanted to correct this since apparently I can't remember numbers anymore and what I wrote is really absurd.  I got 288 diapers for $38.  Or about 13 cents per diaper. Still a very good deal!

  • I've been doing this for a while now and it's awesome.  Best deal on diapers, by far.

As PP said, you can modify and change if need be (I've had to skip shipments before and it's not a problem).

Also, they email you to remind you it's about to ship...which helps me, as my memory is pretty lame these days!  :)

  • We do it and love it.  It was really easy to change the size of diapers before our last shipment.
  • I signed up for this about a month ago and love the savings!  My first purchase was size 2 diapers and I did the automatic delivery.  When I had to switch to size 3 diapers, it was super easy.  I just went to my account and next to the subscription, they have an option to change the size.

Also, I don't think that it's realistic have diapers automatically shipped to you since there are probably some months where you need more and other months where you might need less  (ie, the poo explosion that ends up using like 5 diapers.. yuck).  So the trick is, I pushed the "automatic delivery" as far as possible (6 months, I think?) knowing that I'll need diapers sooner than 6 months.  Then when I actually need the diapers, I just click on the link that says "send an extra shipment now" and it'll give you the option of keeping the next schedule shipment or pushing it back 6 months again.  This way, I control the shipment and still save a ton of money.

  • We loooove this. It's the best diaper deal by far. We just ask for a new shipment whenever we need it. We also get our diaper genie refills this way.

I had no idea you can do it this way!  I signed up for AM but not for subscribe and save.  I need to revisit.  Thanks for the info!

  • We have a Prime account and use Subscribe and Save. The trick to not getting an auto shipment is to schedule the next shipment for a few months away. Obviously you will need diapers before that. We just wait until we open the last package of diapers and then have the next shipment sent. You can click a button that says "send shipment now" and you get it in 2 business days. Also, if you end up with a shipment by accident and you are not ready for it or you need a different size, they will send a new shipment and you have free returns for the one you don't want.

    i love amazon

  • I've been using it for a few months and it is awesome.  It saves you so much money.  You don't have to pay tax and you get 30% off.  Way better deal than anything in the store.

You can change your diaper size at any time.  You can also use the subscribe and save for wipes, baby food and some other things as well.  My SIL is pregnant and told her to go sign up since it's such a great deal.
