Update on my little sister

I posted a week ago about my sister needed lots of blood work and I was worried she had bone marrow cancer/disease....

She was diagnosed with Von Willebrand Disease which is the lesser of all evils so I am soooo happy and relieved.

No cancer!  She does have to see a hematologist to figure out how severe her disease is and will have to start medication depending on the results of those tests.  She will also need to have transfusions to "load her up" with clotting factors before having any surgery in the future.

I wasn't around for the original post, but I am glad she doesn't have cancer and I hope that she is able to get some answers quickly and get healthy soon!
