Camera Recommendations

My point and shoot camera got broke last weekend at my high school reunion. We already have and DSLR, but I need a small convenient camera that I can throw in my bag and go. I would like to keep it under $200.

Thanks

Re: Camera Recommendations

  • There's an awesome Canon one with 10 zoom on it - - cant remember the model but I've heard good things about it plus FIL takes amazing pics with it. He got his from Beach Camera which has horrible reviews online. He didn't have any problems getting his. I would also suggest waiting until Thanksgiving if you can - most cameras go on sale around the holidays. :)

  • I have an Olympus Stylus, not sure the model but it is waterproof up to 10 feet and shock proof up to a 5 ft drop. It takes good pictures too... We got one of them blown up and hung it over the mantel.
  • I LOVE my cannon - I am by no means a good picture taker, but it takes really great photos, but still has a lot of features and settings.  I will have find it and post the model #.  Oh and my wedding photog told me it is the same point and shoot she has =)
