1. I have not really progressed from last week's appt.  I'm still 2cm, soft cervix, head down, etc.  Sue *guesses* that I have at least another week.  That made me happy.

2. I definitely ordered a Gownie from Amazon.  I felt it was the only acceptable thing to do in my quest to be as much like you as possible.  I've also called the hospital and requested that we share an L&D room.  Stick out tongue

    1. I am secretly glad you have another week because I want a baby before you.....there, I said it! That being said, even though I am 3cm, soft cervix, head down (blah blah) I have not had one painful contraction so I think I have some time left too.  As long as he is healthy and happy in there I am fine.  I just hate the unknown.  If someone could just tell me "You will be be one day overdue and go into labor" I would be fine...then I could quit thinking about how embarrassing it would be for my water to break in a business meeting with the VP of my deptartment Indifferent

    2. Ohhhhh - I love that you got a gown.  I am so excited to wear mine, I even told the doctor about it and the matching pink color that I already have painted on my toes.  He officially thinks I am a freak.

    1.  No lie, I just started to obsess over this possibility, yesterday!  Therefore, I've started to decline conference room meeting invites and accept only if there is a conference bridge.  HA!

    2.  I'm totally stealing this idea, too.  Melissa and I have our mani/pedi appt tonight.  Smile

    Oh - now this is a good idea!  Then at least I will just be ruining my own chair.

    step 2 - call DH to come get me

    step 3 - call environmental services to come burn my chair

    See, you are a bigger person than me.  I'd go with the following:

    step 1 - water breaks

    step 2 - call DH to come get me

    step 3 - switch chairs with my colleague who is in India for the next two weeks (he'd never know the difference)

    My boss is so freaked that I am going to go into labor early that she wants me to work from home as much as possible. uh..ok!

    Here is my confession: I want both of you to have babies before me.

    Confession #2: I am afraid the full moon is going to throw me into labor.
